The way it is made is something special - once the dough has been wound onto the traditional wooden spits, every roll is turned through freshly ground walnut mixed with sugar. On contact with the glowing charcoal, the sugar caramelizes into a golden, crunchy crust while the walnuts release their natural aromas.
